Structure Features & Working Principle:
Planetary gear reducer mining hoists core drive unit engineered extreme vertical shaft hoisting conditions, integrating high reliability, high power density, long service life design.
High-speed input stage: Parallel-axis helical gears provide primary reduction. Gears are carburized, quenched, precision ground, ensuring smooth power input quiet operation.
Core reduction stage: Consists of 1–3 stages series-connected planetary gears. Power enters via the sun gear, driving multiple planet gears that engage fixed internal gear ring to turn planet carrier. This "power-split" structure evenly distributes loads, delivering high gear ratios and rigidity.
Low-speed output stage: Reinforced one-piece planet carrier heavy-duty flange directly outputs high torque, ensuring secure connection to the hoist drum.


Primary Reduction: Motor power is initially reduced via the input-stage parallel gears.
Torque Multiplication via Power Split: Power drives planetary stage. Sun gear–planet gears–internal gear ring meshing achieves torque split multiplication sharp speed reduction. Performance amplified multi-series stages.
High-Torque Output: Final stage’s massive torque is transmitted through robust output components, directly driving the hoist drum to lift/lower loads.
Key Advantages: Based on the "power-split" principle, gears and bearings carry only a fraction total output torque. This delivers a compact design, high efficiency (>97%), smooth operation, and strong impact resistance.
